Heirship and Administration Docket Hearing Request Form

Set or Pass Hearings

Settings for Probate Court 1 ONLY

The Heirship Docket is heard each Wednesday at 10:00am. Requests must be received by 5:00pm on the Wednesday before the hearing date. This form is to set uncontested hearings of the following nature:

Determination of Heirship
Independent Administration
Dependent Administrations (Creditor Applications)

Once you have sent your information, you should receive confirmation via email within 4 business hours. If you do not receive confirmation within 4 business hours, please contact the Court at 713-368-6700. If you need confirmation sooner, please contact the court directly.

Practice Tip: The Current Heirship Docket in the "Links" box shows the dockets for the next 3 to 4 weeks. Check there first to see how many are already booked on the dockets before you make your choice.
